Girls Day In/Boys Day In. Drawing upon her own experiences, Michelle talks to a small group (boys or girls) about the importance of self-esteem and self-reliance. Michelle uses the characters in her books as points of reference, examining the issues they face and the choices they make as young men and women. Michelle leads an open forum where students have the opportunity to voice their thoughts.
